Cake Pops!

Have you ever heard of cake pops?  They are SO cute!  A blogger name Bakerella can be thanked for these adorable babies, you can see her website here: http://www.bakerella.com/ !

Tina is becoming an expert in making Cake Pops and we wanted to post some pictures of Cake Pops she has made recently:

 All systems go....let's make some Cake Pops
 Couldn't you see these brightening a little girls birthday party?!  So sweet!  Tina has these cooling in a foam block but we can "create" a pretty block for these to stand in...how cute would they be on a tiered platform that looks like a cake?
 Here are some with glitter sugar!  These pops are vanilla/buttercream inside but we can do any flavor...we can also invert them so that the cake ball is on a platform and the stick is in the air (sometimes easier to pick up at a party)
And of course we can make these in any color!  They can also be made into shapes such as butterflies, hearts, and much more.  We are practicing hard to make them even cuter and perfect.  Let Sweet Pea Events know if you are interested in us making these for your next event!

Events we've helped with!!

Hey friends!

Just to give you a sample of a few events we've helped with, here are some pictures...

The first few pictures are from Katie's cousins wedding - she helped make and set up all the decorations you see, as well as tear down.  The ideas were all thought up by the bride - which we encourage (it is YOUR day, after all) and the point is that we will do all the work getting your ideas all set up and put together beautifully!  Although, if you have no idea or need help being creative, we can do that too!  We love thinking up color schemes (and will have tons of ideas for you to choose from) and creating/making decorations. 

 We can help make seemingly bland (tee hee) halls or banquet rooms look lovely and festive!
A little color goes a long way!  I love the pink & black theme, it's so classy and fun!

These next few pictures are from a friends wedding just a few weeks ago that Katie & Tina helped out with.  Again, the bride came up with the color theme, the details and made all her own decisions and we just helped set up, light candles, helped with pictures and all those little details, and we also cut the cake (no charge!)

 The kitchen ladies added these grapes while the service was going on....lol....we took them off since they didn't go with her colors!
During the ceremony, Tina snuck back to the reception hall to make sure all was ready and to light the candles - such a small detail but if you don't have someone to think about that...it could be stressful!
Katie and Tina also helped with things like making sure the bride had privacy to get dressed, a quiet moment with her mom and then her dad uninterrupted.  If you need people bossed around, but don't want to do it yourself - or have to ask your bridal party to do it - that's what we are there for;)  It really takes the stress off the bride!  They also got the crowd dancing - you know...Cha Cha Slade, Cupid Shuffle, etc.

Event Services!

Hello everyone!

We are getting our event planning business up and running!  We will help you with any and all events including but not limited to weddings, wedding rehearsals, children's bday parties, adult bday celebrations, graduation parties, baby showers, and bridal showers.  We specialize in doing Day-of-Coordinating, we would love to help you sit back, relax and enjoy whatever event you want to host while we run around and do all the work;)

Here are the services we provide:

1. Set up and tear down of parties and weddings
2. Decorations: we can make them and/or buy them and/or set them up
3. Flowers: we can work with real or fake flowers
4. Picture taking (non professional) or we can recommend some really great professional photographers!
5. Favor bags: buying/creating and putting them together
6. Table decorations: making/buying and setting up/tearing down
7. Day-of Coordinating for weddings, rehearsals, and parties
8. Music: Ipod playlists, speaker system not included (yet), we can run the music, being the DJ
9. Cake cutting (many places charge an extra fee for this!)
10.  Coming soon: cake baking!  We are still very new at this, but we are practicing and working very hard!  Tina's mom is awesome at cakes, so message us if you are really interested!

There is much more we can do!  Basically, we want to help you throw a fun, fabulous event without you wanting to rip your hair out from doing everything and being stressed!  We are dirt cheap (we promise) we will charge a very affordable fee per event, plus the cost of materials if you want us to shop for you (yes!  we will do your shopping!!).  We will ask for you to consider donating all party supplies to us once your event is over, if you have no need for them because we really do;)
